The Chamber of Commerce is financed by the regional business community on the basis of the direct benefit principle: costs are passed on to the customer wherever possible; individual users of products and services are charged breakeven prices.  

In addition, all registered businesses pay an annual subscription. This income is exclusively used to finance activities that promote the interests of the regional business community. The Ministry of Economic Affairs monitors the subscription charge.
