Context

As fast growing high-end technology supplier and knowledge company we highly depend on the availability of highly qualified technical specialists. Many of them retire while on the other hand young people do not tend to choose for technical studies.

Challenge

As a result of our fast grow the traditional master-apprentice education model no longer fits in our organization. Because of that junior employees will have to take over senior tasks and responsibilities in a relatively short(er) time frame. Gaining experience with technology as well as with people is crucial in the process of growing towards a high level of task maturity. Therefore we are looking for new methods to transfer senior employees' knowledge towards inexperienced junior colleagues in an effective way.
