Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)

Entrepreneurs or legal entities who own shares or derivatives must possess a Legal Entity Identifier, or LEI. Otherwise, they may not trade on the stock market. In the Netherlands, the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce KVK issues LEIs.
