Covenant Dutch Nurses and Care Workers Association (V&VN)

Nurses, care workers, and nursing specialists may, because of their profession, be confronted with intimidation, violence, or other threatening situations. In the event of such a foreseeable threat, the employee may conceal the visiting address of their company or legal entity (with the exception of a BV or NV) in the Business Register.

A condition for this is that the professional organisation representing these employees has agreed on concealment criteria with KVK. V&VN and KVK have set out these agreements in a covenant (in Dutch).

Conditions for shielding a business address

You must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • You are registered as a member of Verpleegkundigen & Verzorgenden Nederland (V&VN). You must provide evidence of this in the form of a statement from V&VN.
  • You must submit a statement drawn up by Verpleegkundigen & Verzorgenden Nederland (V&VN) showing that, due to the specific nature of your work, you are considered part of the professional group and may face a probable threat.
