Do you use Business Register details? Keep them up to date

Using company data from the Business Register means you can carry out your organisation’s work safely and responsibly. You might check businesses using SBI codes, or maybe you use KVK numbers when sending invoices. Outdated information can cause serious problems. So keep the data you work with up to date via the KVK Mutation Service.

Business Register data changes regularly. 60% of Dutch businesses change at least 1 piece of their business data every year. If you got Business Register data years ago, it  will no longer be up to date. Businesses expand their business activities, relocate, or change ownership. This means, among other things, different SBI codes, different addresses, and different directors. These are business details that you use, for example, to determine the amount of a contribution, arrange pensions, grant licences, or enter into a contract.

Check your data

Prevent risks and regularly check the Business Register details of your business contacts or customers. There are 2 ways to do this.

Manually

Do you want to check the details of a few businesses? Then look up the business in the Business Register via kvk.nl/en/search. You will immediately see their current details.

With the KVK Mutation Service

Do you want to check large amounts of company data automatically and keep it up to date? Then subscribe to the KVK Mutation Service and receive a notification when data is new or details have changed. You decide what you want to be notified about. For example, new entrepreneurs with a specific SBI code, or businesses that have changed their address. Once you receive a notification from the KVK Mutation Service, you can retrieve the latest details yourself via an API link.
