It is important that your details are correct in the Business Register. Customers, banks and insurers check these details to assess your business.

Why is it important that your details are correct?

1. You don't want to miss any assignments

Many SBI codes will change in September. So check now whether the description of your activities is still correct. If you receive the wrong SBI code, it could cost you an assignment.

2. You want to apply for a permit or subsidy

Government organisations check your details in the Business Register when you apply for a subsidy or permit. If your information is not correct, your business might not qualify.

3. You want to be able to borrow money

Banks and other organisations use the information in the Business Register to approve your application for a loan, lease contract, or mortgage.

Check your business activities in My KVK

You can quickly and easily view and edit your details in your personal KVK pages. Here, you can check and adjust your business activities. This is important because the business activities you enter determine which SBI code you will receive. Many SBI codes will change in September.

You will also need to tell us about a new trade name, changed contact details, or the number of people you employ. Do you want to register or deregister a branch or officer? You can also do this in My KVK.
