Would you like to use energy more efficiently or make your business more sustainable? You can still apply for various grants this year to help you do so. Make sure you apply in good time, as some grants will no longer be available later this year.
This overview lists subsidies that will be available in 2026. Please note that a subsidy may run out before its end date. The government processes applications on a first-come, first-served basis.
Subsidies for energy and innovation
These subsidies are available to businesses in various sectors.
Energy innovation (from RVO and Energy Innovation NL)
Several subsidies for entrepreneurs investing in energy  (in Dutch). You can receive funding for projects that reduce your energy consumption or CO2 emissions, amongst other things. There is also funding available for businesses collaborating on circular production, renewable energy and green buildings.
Deadline: Varies per subsidy, but please note: some will close in the summer of 2026.
Flex-e-subsidy
Is the electricity grid in your municipality or region at full capacity (grid congestion)? And is this preventing you from growing or becoming more sustainable? See if you can manage your energy more efficiently. With the , you can have the options for your business assessed. The subsidy is available to businesses with an electricity connection exceeding 3×80 amps.
Deadline: 14 October 2026.
Subsidies for sustainability by sector
For some sectors, subsidies are available to make work or production processes more sustainable.
Sustainable Shipbuilding (SDS)
Shipbuilders or offshore businesses wishing to use more sustainable techniques can apply for the Sustainable Shipbuilding . This allows you to test new, sustainable techniques.
Deadline: 22 September 2026.
Plastic production and processing (CPNL)
For businesses that produce, process, or use plastic. The Circular Plastics NL Subsidy  enables you to explore how to make the production and processing of plastic more sustainable, for example by reusing residual materials.
Deadline: 6 October 2026.
Clean and Zero Emission Construction Equipment (SSEB)
For construction companies wishing to purchase zero-emission machinery and vehicles or to retrofit existing equipment, there is the Subsidy for Clean and Zero Emission Construction Equipment .
Deadline: 30 October 2026, but please note: the budget is almost exhausted.
Subsidies until early 2027
There are also 2 sustainability subsidies for industry that will continue until early 2027.
Accelerated Climate Investments for Industry (VEKI)
Do you want to take measures to reduce your CO2 emissions? If you cannot recoup the high investment costs within 5 years, you can apply for the Accelerated Climate Investments for subsidy.
Deadline: 28 January 2027.
Study for Sustainable Industry (STUDI)
For businesses wishing to investigate a new technology that will enable them to reduce their CO2 emissions within ten years, there is the Study for Sustainable Industry .
Deadline: 31 March 2027.
