Convenant Mentorschap Nederland

Working with people with learning disabilities, psychogeriatric or psychiatric problems, or their family members, for example, can pose additional risks for the mentor. In addition, a professional mentor sometimes makes decisions around the client's medical care provision that meet resistance from the client and/or their family. This may lead to verbal and physical threats towards the professional mentor, the regional foundation that mandates the mentor, or the national umbrella organisation Vereniging Mentorschap Netwerk Nederland. In the event of such a foreseeable threat, the mentor can shield the visiting address of their company or legal entity (with the exception of a bv or nv) in the Business Register. A condition for this is that the professional association of mentors has agreed on shielding criteria with KVK. Mentorschap Nederland and KVK have set out these agreements in a covenant.
