Terms of Use Business Register

There are rules for viewing and using data from the Business Register. The rules that apply are written down in the terms of use. Read these carefully before using the data.

Did you sign an agreement with KVK after 1 January 2021? Then the ‘Gebruiksvoorwaarden verstrekking en gebruik Handelsregistergegevens’ (Terms of Use for Provision and Use of Business Register Data) apply.

If you consult or reuse Business Register data on a large scale, additional conditions apply. These conditions concern use of the data by yourself, reuse, and forwarding of data. The additional conditions are an appendix to the terms of use (titled ‘Voorwaarden voor toestemming van gebruik van Handelsregistergegevens als bedoeld in de Databankenwet’, Terms and Conditions for Permission to use Business Register Data as defined in the Databases Act).

A separate explanation for the additional conditions lists examples of use by yourself, reuse, and forwarding of data. For example, forwarding can be the resale of Business Register extracts. Or building a website on which Business Register data can be requested. Forwarding data is not allowed.

Depending on the product in question, the following terms of use applied to agreements predating 1 January 2021:
