A KVK Business Register Extract is an official document showing the key details about a business. It includes, for example, the business name, address, business activities, date of registration, and the names of the directors. The order page is currently only available in Dutch.
You can check who you are doing business with using an uncertified online extract. For example, you can see who the directors are and who is authorised to sign on its behalf.
Do you need to show official proof of your business? For example, for a bank or subsidy application. If so, order a digital or paper certified extract.

A KVK Business Register Extract contains the details of a business or organisation, as they are recorded in the Business Register. This allows you to check who you are doing business with.

Do you just want to view the details of a business? Then you can also choose to view an extract online. This is not an official document and is not officially certified. You can view it directly on your screen.
If you are not sure which extract you need, please contact the organisation requesting it. They can tell you what they need and how old the document can be.
An KVK Business Register Extract is valid as long as an organisation/business accepts the extract. An extract shows a company’s details as they stand at the time the extract is requested. So if changes are made subsequently, the details in the extract will no longer be up to date. That is why most companies request an extract of no more than 1 month old.
No, if you have ordered an extract for a branch or secondary establishment, it will not list any officials, such as owners, partners, or (managing) directors. If there are any officials, you will find them in the extract for the principal establishment (head office).
When you look up a business on KVK.nl, you will see at the top of the screen whether it is a branch or secondary establishment. You can then click directly to view the primary establishment of this business.
