You want to do business internationally. But what do you need to arrange to do business across borders? How do you get information? And what documents will you have to deal with? Margot Vandervoort is co-owner of Willicroft, a startup that makes plant-based cheese from beans and legumes. Its sustainable cheese is already in Dutch and German supermarkets, and soon probably in Japan. Margot talks about her quest and how she is putting vegan cheese on the map internationally.
You just get out of school, register at KVK and within a few years, your company grows into a successful international business. How do you do that? You will find out in the series Jong & Internationaal. Every episode, presenter Ciana Mayam visits a young entrepreneur doing business across the border. This series is a collaboration between KVK and RVO.
Disclaimer: Willicroft B.V. was an Amsterdam-based company making plant-based dairy products. The company ceased operations on 20 January 2025 because it did not raise enough funding. Willicroft has been sold and no longer operates under its old name.
