Step 4 of 5 - Prepare the UBO report

Who can report UBOs?

The persons who are authorised to submit changes to the Business Register on behalf of your VOF, maatschap, or CV (general, professional, or limited partnership), EEIG, or rederij (shipping company) are authorised signatories for the UBO report. These include, for example, all partners in a VOF, maatschap, CV, or EEIG, and all members of a rederij. Authorised signatory means that they are authorised to sign documents on behalf of the organisation.

Which data must the authorised signatory submit?

  • first and last name
  • Citizen Service Number (BSN, if the signatory has one)
  • email address
  • phone number
  • when sending the statement online: DigiD
  • when sending the statement by post: a copy of a valid identity document
