Incorrect data in the Business Register? Let KVK know

Do you think the details of a business or organisation in the Business Register are incorrect? If so, you can report this to KVK. We will check the information.

In some cases, the Business Register extract for that business or organisation will state: ‘Voor deze inschrijving is een gegeven in onderzoek’ (For this registration, a detail is under review).

Individual or business owner: online form

Are you a private individual or a business owner? Notify us using the online form. We respect your privacy. We will not share your personal details with the business or organisation in question.

Digimelding for government organisations

Do you work for a government organisation, such as a municipality or the Netherlands Tax Administration? Make your report via a Digimelding.

Review of details

We are legally to carry out a review once we have received a notification. We cannot provide any information on how long the reviewwill take or how it will be conducted. Would you like to know more? Then read about the steps KVK takes following a notfication.

You cannot make the report anonymously, as KVK needs to know who we are dealing with. However, for privacy reasons, we will never disclose your name or personal details to the business or organisation.

Data must be accurate

The details in the Business Register must be accurate. If a business fails to report changes, the information in the Business Register still applies. This is known as ‘third-party effect’ and is set out in the Business Register Act (Handelsregisterwet).You should check the information in the Business Register for your business or organisation regularly. And please notify KVK if you think that the information for a business is incorrect.
