Change or add an address
Would you like to change or add an address for your organisation? You can do this yourself online via My KVK.
Which address would you like to change?
You do not have to inform us of every change of address. However, sometimes this is necessary, for example if your visiting address changes. Below you can see which addresses you can change or add in My KVK.
Is your home address changing?
Then you only need to report your move to the municipality. Does this also change your visiting or business address? Report this to KVK after your address has changed at the municipality.
Visiting or business address (head office)
The official address of your business or organisation, as registered in the Business Register.
Postal address
This is the address where you receive business post, such as a PO box. Would you like to keep your visiting address private in the Business Register? If so, add a separate postal address in My KVK.
Address of a secondary establishment
Examples of a secondary establishment are a second location or a workshop.
What do you need to change an address?
- Your DigiD login details
- A copy of a document showing that you are renting, own or are authorised to use the new address. Check which document you need.
Please note: ensure that the date on the document is before or on the same date as the date of the change
This is how you change an address in My KVK
Everyone who is registered in the Business Register can log in to My KVK. Changing or adding an address is free of charge.
- Log in to My KVK with your DigiD.
- Select the business or organisation for which you want to make changes.
- Change the address, check that everything is correct and send it to KVK.
What happens after you make your change?
Here is what you can expect:
- In ‘My KVK’, you can track the status of the change you have submitted.
- Once your change has been processed in the Business Register, you will receive a letter from KVK. Keep this letter as proof of your change.
FAQ about changing your address
If your visiting address changes, we will pass this on to the Netherlands Tax Administration. If your postal address changes, you must contact the Tax Administration .
We do not pass on a change of address to any other organisations.

If you cannot or do not want to use My KVK, for example because you do not have a DigiD, you can use form 14. You use this to report changes to us by post.
