How to register a director, supervisory board member, sole shareholder, liquidator, etc. of a private limited company (BV), limited partnership (NV), cooperative (coƶperatie), mutual society (Onderlinge Waarborgmaatschappij), SE, SCE, or foundation (stichting) or association (vereniging) with a business. And how to register an authorised representative for one of these legal forms.
1. Download the forms

2. Post the forms or visit KVK?
Send forms to KVK
- Commissioners or sole shareholders do not need to visit KVK in person. If the officer you wish to register is a legal entity (for instance a BV or NV, you need not visit in person either. In this case, you can simply send in a form. The form states who is authorised to sign the form and which supporting documents you may need to enclose. If a shareholder or commissioner was not registered by the notary, a certified deed of share transfer must always be submitted when registering a new or existing sole shareholder.
- Send the form, with a copy of aĀ valid IDĀ of the person who signed the form, to one of the KVKās mailing addresses.
Visit the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce KVK
- Directors and authorised representatives must visit KVK in person to register. Liquidators need only visit in person if they were not registered as a director for the legal entity in question.
3. Make an appointment at KVK to complete your registration
- You can make an appointment at any KVK office.
- Plan your appointment well in advance. here may be waiting times at busy KVK offices
- Bring valid proof of identity and the necessary forms and supporting documents. After making your appointment, you will receive an e-mail with an overview of what you need to bring.

Changes or deregistration for a date in the future
Are you submitting a change or deregistration for a future date? Then you will only see it in the Business Register on that date. For the UBO register, you cannot submit changes with an effective date in the future.Ā
Confirmation
After your change or deregistration has been processed in the Business Register and/or UBO register, you will receive confirmation by letter, or digitally via your Message account. Are you submitting the change or deregistration online? Then you will also receive confirmation by email.
