Submitted changes and deregistrations

You can only see changes and deregistrations submitted online (via My KVK or Report a change) and concerning the Business Register. On the current processing times page, you can see how long it takes to process changes submitted by post.

On the current processing times page you can see how long it takes for changes to be processed. Did you submit your change or deregistration online? Then you can view the status in My KVK.

We will only process a change or deregistration from the effective date of the change. This is the date you entered when you notified the change. Is this a date in the future? Then the change will have the status ‘Submitted’ until that date.

The change or deregistration on or after this date may not immediately have the status ‘In behandeling’. Check the current processing times on the effective date of the change or deregistration. Do not submit the change or deregistration to us again.

A change or deregistration is always registered in the Business Register from the effective date, even if it is processed at a later time due to a longer processing time.

You can only see processed changes and deregistrations that have been submitted via Report a change or My KVK, are about the Business Register, and have not yet been put in a digital archive by KVK. Archived changes are still registered at the KVK and in the Business Register, but they are no longer visible in My KVK.

Order the KVK Corporate History product if you want to view all processed changes of an organisation.

You cannot see the status of a submitted change in My KVK until everyone who has to sign the change online has done so.

My KVK and the Business Register

What you cannot see in my KVK

  • Organisations that have been deregistered from the Business Register.
  • Organisations whose data we are not legally allowed to show. For example, when the organisation is in receivership (the owner of the organisation is no longer allowed to make decisions about money or belongings of the organisation).
  • Churches and legal entities under public law (for example, provinces and municipalities).
  • Do you have a BV with a holding structure? Then you will see the details of the holding company. If the holding company is an official in an operating company, you will not see the details of the operating company.

You cannot do in My KVK

This is currently not possible via My KVK. Buy a KVK Business Register extract or use the KVK Name checker (in Dutch only).

No, that is not possible in My KVK. However, you can order an extract from the Business Register at KVK.nl. You will need an access code for this in some cases.

Read the page about My KVK to find out what you can see and do in My KVK, and what not.

In My KVK you can view the companies and organisations for which you as a natural person perform a function directly. You can change the Business Register details of these organisations.

Are there organisations in the list for which your company or organisation performs a function, and for which you are a UBO? You can only view your own UBO details for these organisations. You cannot view or change these organisations'  Business Register details. Nor can you view the other UBOs for these organisations.

To view an organisation's Business Register details, you can order a KVK Business Register Extract. Or you can use the KVK Company Checker (in Dutch).

Order the product KVK Business Register Group Structure Overview to view the relations between organisations.

My KVK and the UBO register

To be able to view UBOs you must:

  • be the UBO of an organisation. You will then only see your own data.
  • be able to officially make registrations, changes, and deregistrations in the Business Register for an organisation. You will then see the UBO details of this organisation.

My KVK and the LEI register

An LEI is a unique number that enables financial supervisors (such as the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets, AFM) to track global transactions and take action where necessary. The goal is to improve the transparency of the financial markets, gain better control of the risks, and protect investors.

Entrepreneurs or legal entities who own shares or derivatives must possess an LEI. If you do not have an LEI, you may no longer be able to purchase or sell on the stock exchange. Contact your bank or asset manager in order to determine whether you need an LEI.
